Phil Richer is a Senior Consultant with Asset Performance Networks, based out of the company’s office in Houston, Texas. In addition to conducting turnaround and capital project assessments, Phil draws upon his experience in standards and analytics in the oil & gas industry to carry out benchmarking projects for AP-Networks’ clients.

During his time as a Consultant, Phil has conducted more than 20 turnaround and capital project assessments each year at plants throughout North America. He has also prepared site and corporate-wide benchmarking reports that provide detailed comparisons of client performance and predictability. Additionally, he has participated in dozens of risk, scope review, and schedule review workshops, and has been instrumental in work process creation & implementation and process assurance efforts for several clients.

Prior to joining AP-Networks, Phil worked as an associate for the Global Industry Services group at the American Petroleum Institute, creating and promoting standards in exploration, production, tank service, and fire & safety. Phil also developed widely used industry data tracking U.S. distillate supply, imports/exports of crude oils, refinery capacity, inventories, and drilling expenditure data.

Phil holds an MBA from Georgetown University with a focus in analytics and operations. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Colorado.
