Cynthia Lopez is the Manager of Intellectual Property Solutions, part of the Technology and Software Engineering division of Asset Performance Networks. Cynthia is based out of the company’s office in Houston, Texas. She possesses over 15 years of professional experience in software development.

Since joining AP-Networks, Cynthia has developed a customized risk management application for one of the world’s most prominent energy companies. She has also led the implementation of customized turnaround work processes for several of AP-Networks’ largest clients. Cynthia’s day-to-day responsibilities include leading the Intellectual Property Solutions team in all aspects of development, support, and maintenance for AP-Networks’ proprietary tools.

Cynthia began her career at Valmet Automation, a leading worldwide supplier of SCADA systems. While at Valmet, she developed displays and conducted technical training for clients in the electric utility industry. Prior to joining AP-Networks, Cynthia was a developer for Diverse Networks Inc. (DNI), where she designed and developed a capital projects performance database for a leading energy company.

Cynthia has experience in all areas of software development, including user-interface design, database design, system integration, and project management. She holds a BBA in Information Systems from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and an MBA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
