Carl Breidy is a Consultant with Asset Performance Networks, based out of the company’s office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Carl possesses experience in both engineering design and project coordination.

As a part of AP-Networks, Carl has focused on helping clients chart a path to top quartile performance. Through the execution of various AP-Networks services—including Turnaround Assist Programs (T-AP), Integrated Turnaround Assist Programs (iT-AP), risk workshops, and benchmarking studies—Carl has helped to provide clients with a clear picture of where they are in relation to Industry. And through steering team and core team training sessions, as well as work process development and revision workshops, he has provided clients with the tools to fill the gaps in their performance.

Prior to joining AP-Networks, Carl worked for an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor in Lebanon. In this role, Carl served as a Mechanical Engineer for BEMCO International S.A.L., where he was responsible for management and coordination of major power projects in KSA for both open cycle and combined cycle power plants. He coordinated with multiple engineering disciplines, as well as with various design offices and subcontractors in Spain, France, South Korea, and India. Additionally, he handled design review of all piping and valve related activities, as well as evaluation of technical submittals and project plans. Carl’s experience also includes work in project management and estimating with D.J. Jones & Partners in Qatar, on projects including the New Doha International Airport (NDIA) and QNB Tower.

Carl holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut. Throughout his academic career, Carl was educated in France, Germany, and Lebanon, enabling him to speak fluent English, French, German, and Arabic, and providing him with the ability to adapt quickly to multicultural environments.
